AboutJacob W. Staley is a research scientist and founder of multiple deep-tech startups dedicated to pushing cutting edge research in artificial intelligence into the hands of the greater world. When not consumed with that he divides his time exploring the overlap between art, light and time, and discovering ways to quantify, optimize and improve performance (physical, mental, and everything in between).

Originally made in the USA, but a constant push for growth and a belief life begins on the edge of one's comfort zone has led to him living abroad in multiple countries since late 2010. During this time he has collaborated with and lead teams of engineers, scientists, therapists, medical doctors and entrepreneurs at various world renowned institutions such as Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA), MIRA Institute (The Netherlands), EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland), Wyss Center for Bio and Bioengineering (Geneva, Switzerland), Internet and Data Science Lab (Belgium), TandemLaunch (Montreal, Canada) and Entrepreneur First (Singapore). During this time he has studied under gifted creative artists, passionate healers, and become an untethered citizen of the world.
